Senior Data Analyst (Remote)
The Senior Data Analyst will be a key player in supporting Legale’s expanding Business Analytics function, which is crucial for our growing Business Operations team. At Legale, where we’re proud to be recognized on Fortune’s lists of Best Workplaces in Technology and Best Medium Workplaces, you’ll use data to lead the way, always looking for ways to improve customer satisfaction, increase revenue, and retain customers. Your commitment to our internal customers will drive you to constantly find new ways to support them, providing insightful analyses on how our programs are performing and where we can make them better. As a proactive contributor, you won’t wait for projects to come to you but will identify them and offer recommendations without delay.
This role will be very important within our Business Operations team, so we’re looking for someone with a track record of success, preferably in a fast-growing startup environment.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with revenue leaders and other stakeholders to analyze data and create useful insights through dashboards that inform how we run our operations.
- Clearly explain your findings to different people, including managers and executives in all departments.
- Work closely with leaders to find ways to keep our customers happy, satisfied, and spending more money.
- Work with different teams to create and maintain data tools that give us reliable information we can act on.
- Regularly look at dashboards and share what you find with the leadership team, offering insights into how we're doing, what's working well, and where we can do better.
What you'll bring:
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, good at using data tools like Sigma, Looker, or Tableau.
- Good at writing SQL to analyze data, able to make complex queries by yourself.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain complicated data or queries to people who aren't technical.
- Experience with using statistics and predicting what might happen in the future.
- Naturally curious and always looking for answers.
- Happy to work in a fast-growing startup, where you'll have freedom but also need to work well with others.
- Experience with programming languages like Python, R, or SAS is a bonus, especially if you can do advanced statistics with them.
- Knowing about Customer Success, Sales, and Product areas is a big plus.
