Legale.io integrates these requirements with an optimized user experience based on three pillars:
1. Advanced biometric verification
The remote enrollment process begins with a biometric scan (selfie or video), which is compared in real time with the image of the ID document. This mechanism is equivalent to in-person enrollment in terms of security and allows verification that the signer is who they claim to be.
2. Automated document validation
Legale.io uses OCR and AI technologies to analyze ID documents (passport, ID card, etc.) and validate their authenticity against official databases and anti-fraud rules. This complies with regulations such as:
- eIDAS (EU) for qualified e-signature,
- Law No. 19,799 (Chile),
- Law No. 14,063/2020 (Brazil),
- and ISO standards such as 27001 and 30107-3 (PAD anti-spoofing).
3. Secure generation of keys and certificates
Once the identity is validated, the system generates a cryptographic key pair remotely and securely (on-device or in a cloud-based HSM), signing a digital certificate associated exclusively with the user. This certificate can be used to sign documents with full legal validity and traceability.
