Compliance Analyst (Remote)
As a Compliance Analyst at Legale, your role is vital in ensuring our control environment remains strong and compliant. You’ll be responsible for managing risks and making sure we meet all our regulatory and contractual obligations as we grow. Working closely with different teams, including engineers and business leaders, you’ll help improve our processes and systems, with a particular focus on automation, which is a core value at Legale.
What you’ll do:
- Keep an eye on Legale's security and automation platform, dealing with any compliance alerts that come up.
- Review vendors to make sure they meet our security standards.
- Assess risks regularly and work with department heads to address them.
- Help our sales and customer success teams by answering security questions from customers.
- Check how well our compliance program is working and suggest improvements.
- Document new systems and processes so everyone understands them.
- Get ready for compliance audits, both internal and external.
- Report any issues to senior management and help fix them.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or security-related roles.
- Knowing about different regulatory and compliance frameworks like SOC2 and ISO2700
- Experience planning and doing audits and projects.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies.
- Being proactive and able to work independently.
- Good at talking and writing to explain things clearly.
- Excited to learn and work with others to improve our products.
- Knowing about GRC solutions and tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Common Controls Framework (CCF) is helpful.
