Compliance Advisor (Remote)
As a Compliance Advisor at Legale, your role is crucial as you’re the go-to person for helping our customers with their security and compliance needs using our top-notch security and compliance automation platform. Working closely with the Customer Success team, you’ll make sure our clients are ready and advised in no time, offer advice on meeting different control and privacy standards, and represent our customers’ changing requirements in a rapidly growing environment.
What you’ll do:
- Helping create easy-to-understand documents to answer common compliance questions from customers, both inside and outside the company.
- Advice to teams across the company, like helping create training materials, checking marketing content, and answering questions from potential customers.
- Keeping yourself in the loop about the latest services from big cloud providers (like Azure), new tech in cybersecurity, security rules and standards, and privacy rules.
- Giving feedback to the Product team to help them make sure our platform fits with lots of different security and privacy rules (like SOC2, ISO 27001).
- Pitching in with our internal projects to keep everything in check, like doing audits and other compliance jobs.
- Sharing what you know with the team, helping everyone learn and do better.
What you’ll bring:
- 2-3 years of experience helping companies with their security and compliance, working with rules and privacy standards like SOC2 or ISO 27001
- 2+ years of experience checking that companies meet these rules and standards.
- Knowing what services big cloud providers offer for security, like Azure and GitHub.
- Understanding the idea of Shared Responsibility and how it works in SaaS companies.
- Being great at talking and writing and being able to run meetings and training sessions with bigwig types like CISOs and CTOs.
- Always ready to learn more and get better at what you do.
- Being focused on helping our customers and giving them a great experience.
- Being a self-starter who's keen to learn about new security and privacy rules, and new tech.
